The CHQ team met the 8th CPC at Bhubaneswar today i.e. 06 July 26. It is good to note that the interaction lasted for nearly 40 minutes. Notably, after the presentation, we observed that more than eight other teams completed their interactions within about an hour, indicating that the Commission took considerable interest in our presentation and the issues raised.
The CHQ team covered the 3% issue, Rule 10 anomaly, Level-9 entry grade for AAOs, stagnation issues specific to IP&TAFS, merger of AO and Sr. AO cadres, measures to make promotions more attractive, delinking LDCE promotion from MACP, financial upgradation after every six years, and other important points contained in our memorandum.
The Commission sought several clarifications and raised a number of counter-questions to better understand the issues presented. Our team responded effectively to all the queries with supporting facts and rationale.
Overall, the meeting was positive and encouraging. We remain hopeful that the Commission will give due consideration to the issues raised by our Association.
